Nokia 5710 XpressAudio with built-in TWS, two more Originals, and Nokia T10 launched
|Nokia Mobile has launched four new devices today including a peculiar but ingeniously designed Nokia 5710 XpressAudio. The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a first of its kind, offering a built-in TWS earphone housed beneath the slider at its back. The phone is an ode to the original Nokia 5710 XpressMusic, which was never realized over a decade ago. We only see it on supposed leaked photographs, and that was it.
As per the data sheet, the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio will be running on an in-house S30+ OS, with 48MB of RAM, and support for up to 32GB of external storage. Furthermore, the phone is featuring an environmental noise cancellation, dual LTE standby, VOLTE support, a dual loudspeaker, FM Radio, and a basic equalizer. Nokia Mobile also fitted the phone with Bluetooth 5.0 for a more stable audio transfer rate, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the earphone it comes with, it offers up to 2.4 hours of talk time or up to 4 hours of music playback on a single charge.
Nokia Mobile also launched two more feature phones under its Originals series. The first one is the iconic Nokia 8210 4G which was originally launched in 1999 during Paris Fashion Week. The Finns also revived the 2007 classic Nokia 2660 Flip complete with a 1.7” external mono display. Aside from this, both phones feature almost the same specifications.
Both the Nokia 8210 4G and Nokia 2660 Flip have a 2.8” display, a removable 1450mAh battery, dual LTE standby, support for VOLTE, support for up to 32GB microSD card, and Bluetooth 5.0. Both handsets also run the S30+ OS, which is kind of a change for Nokia Mobile. Additionally, the Nokia 2660 Flip comes with Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC), and an add-on Nokia Charging Cradle while the Nokia 8210 4G comes preinstalled with Snake.
The only smarter device of the bunch is the Nokia T10 tablet. As we have expected, it is the smaller version of the Nokia T20. The Nokia T10 sports a smaller 8” fully-laminated HD+ display with up to 450 nits of brightness. It is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T606 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of onboard storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5250mAh of battery, and support for 10W fast charging via USB-C.
Furthermore, the Nokia T10 comes with an 8MP AF main camera, while the front only comes with a 2MP selfie. Media-wise, the Nokia T10 is launching with Netflix HD certification, as well as Google kids space and entertainment space. There is also a dual stereo speaker with support for OZO Audio playback. The tablet will come in two different variants, with one having support for both WiFi and 4G cellular.
The Nokia T10 will be available in the UK starting in August in a single Ocean Blue color. The 3GB/32GB WiFi model will cost £129 ($153), while the LTE version with the same memory configuration is selling for £149 ($177). A Nokia Flip cover in Cyan and Nordic Blue will also be available for £29.99 ($36).
All the feature phones will be available in the UK starting in late July. The Nokia 8210 4G and Nokia 2660 Flip will retail for £64.99 ($77) and will come in three different colors. The additional Nokia Charging Cradle for Nokia 2660 will also become available at the same time for only £20 ($24). As for the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, the phone will be available in Red/White and Red/Black for only £74.99 ($90).
