New Nokia 50″ UHD 4K and 32″ FHD LED Smart Android TVs coming to India
|About a week ago, Flipkart, the brand licensee of Nokia for televisions in India, launched the Nokia 65 inch UHD 4K LED Smart Android TV that went on sale starting August 6. Now, it looks like Flipkart wants to expand its Nokia branded portfolio a bit more with two new LED television sets. As per the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, the new TV sets will hold the model numbers 32TAHDN and 50TAUHDN, and will be manufactured by Dixon Technologies in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Since, Flipkart with Nokia, has launched only Smart TVs yet, it is expected that the new ones will also be Smart TVs. As the model numbers suggest, Nokia 50TAUHDN will be a 50-inch UHD 4K LED TV. While the Nokia 32TAHDN will be a 32-inch LED TV and most probably it will come with a Full-HD resolution, since the model number only has “HD” and misses the letter “U”.
All of the already available Nokia Smart TVs, which are the 43-inch (43CAUHDN), 55-inch (55CAUHDN), and 65-inch (65CAUHDN) TVs, come with UHD 4K resolution. With JBL, the one behind the PureSound of the Nokia Smart TVs, they also come with the support of Android 9, Dolby Audio, Dolby Vision, DTS TruSurround, Chromecast, and OTT media services with hotkeys for Netflix, YouTube, and Google Assistant. Possibly the new TVs will also support all these features.
If we consider their design, it is quite seamless across all the Nokia Smart TVs, as they sport a bezel-less design and a fluid chrome pedestal, if you opt for a non-wall setup. We can expect the new 32-inch TV to be priced less than ₹31,999 (€362, $427) and the new 50-inch TV to be priced between ₹31,999 and ₹41,999 (€475, $560), as the 43-inch TV is already priced at ₹31,999, the 55-inch TV at ₹41,999, and the 65-inch TV is available at ₹64,999.
Flipkart will probably start teasing about the new TVs soon, once we get close to the launch date.
