Nokia T10 specifications revealed by FCC
|Yesterday, a source shared with us a list of devices to expect from Nokia Mobile this year. One of the names that came up is the Nokia T10 which we expect to be a successor or a mini version of the Nokia T20. Today, however, an FCC listing revealed most of its key specifications hinting at an imminent launch.
Our friends at MySmartPrice first spotted a new Nokia device with the model number TA-1462 on the FCC listing today. The handset in question is listed to be having an 8-inch HD+ LCD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is said to be a 5,100mAh battery. This may not be the biggest battery capacity in any budget Android tablet but is still enough to last a day of operation. The charging speed is also a little bit faster at 10W instead of the regular 5W.
Imaging is not the biggest strength of any tablet, and it is the same story for the TA-1462. According to MySmartPrice, the handset is coming with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. With that said, it is safe to assume that this is a budget tablet, and it is not a direct follow-up to the Nokia T20.
Note that this is a different model number from the initial Nokia T10 leak. Back in February, there is a tablet with model numbers TA-1457 and TA-1472 that has gotten certification in Russia. This was followed by Evan Blass claiming that Nokia Penguin is a Nokia T10 tablet.
Now, spec-wise, the assumed Nokia T10 is far from an upgrade from the Nokia T20. As a refresher, the Nokia T20 has a larger 10.4-inch Full HD+ LCD display and features a 5MP front-facing selfie instead of a 2MP from the TA-1462. The smaller factor also resulted in a lower capacity battery versus the enormous 8,200mAh from the Nokia T20. At the end of the day though, we are talking about some budget tablets.
Again, shout out to our friends at MySmartPrice for the awesome tip. Thank you!
