Nokia 5.4 spotted running Android 11 on Geekbench
|HMD Global’s DoctorDoom, or better, the Nokia 5.4, has now surfaced on Geekbench running Android 11. The Snapdragon 662 powered device with 4 GB of RAM was tested for the feature update and scored 311 in the single-core test and 1253 in the multi-core test. The scores are not very different from those on Android 10.
The same day, HTML5test also published a test result showing the Nokia 5.4 operating on Android 11. It scored 518 out of 555 points using Chrome’s version 90. It does not tell anything about the release timeline of the update. However, it does hint that the testing of the update might be at the final stages since they are testing it on public benchmarking sites.
Nokia Mobile could not keep up with its older Android 11 roadmap and presented a new one afterward, but the company has a load of rolling out the update to as many as five smartphones within this month. On top of that, none of the Nokia devices have received Android 11 for more than a month now. Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 1.3, Nokia 1.4, Nokia 3.4, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 5.4 are the ones that should be getting the upgrade this month as per the roadmap.
In April, Nokia Mobile began the rollout for five devices. So if the updates are ready, then Nokia Mobile will be able to keep the users pleased by staying true to its plans of releasing the update to five more devices this month.
