Nokia 7 plus durability tested by JerryRigEverything
|Zack from JerryRigEverything YouTube channel continues to torture devices and next in the line was the new Nokia 7 plus. The 7 plus is a nicely designed device, made from aluminum, but features a ceramic-like coating on the back. Did the 7 plus pass Zack’s tests?
You can find that out watching the video down below.
The 7 plus, like every Nokia phone, passed the durability test. The only thing I find as a bad design/build decision from Zack’s test is the scratchable fingerprint sensor. Yes, it works after being scratched and the camera elevates it as well as the ring around the fingerprint sensor so it cannot be damaged, but adding the real ceramic there to prevent even a possibility of scratching would be even better. Though I cannot really complain much considering the phone overall.
Anyway, Zack is also giving away a Nokia 7. Head to his Instagram and leave a comment below the photo of Nokia 7 plus if you want to take part in the giveaway.
Don’t know about you, but I’m most tempted to see the inside of the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The device is impressively built, and seeing how HMD engineered it from the inside would be great. Hopefully, Zack will get the 8 Sirocco for test, too. 🙂
