At the 5th December event in Cairo, Nokia Mobile announced the next generation of Nokia 2 series of device – the Nokia 2.3. The Nokia 2.3 comes in a nicely designed housing with interesting texture on the back.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio A22 and 2GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of internal storage and support for MicroSD card. The Nokia signature 2-day battery life promise is also there, thanks to a 4000mAh battery and Google’s Adaptive Battery feature. On the sides of the device there are volume rockers, a power button and a Google Assistant button. FM Radio is there, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the nicely-looking back we find a dual camera system. The main camera has a 13MP sensor and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The new 2 comes equipped with Portrait mode feature and some other features like Recommended shot, that takes few dozens of photos and picks the best for you and improved night mode.

Nokia 2.3 uses the old Micro USB standard for charging and wired data transfer and doesn’t feature NFC. Surprisingly, Bluetooth 5.0 is on board, unless it’s a mistake on the official web page.

The Nokia 2.3 will go on sale in mid-December and will be priced starting at 109 euros (121 USD, Rs. 8,600). The device will be available in 3 great looking colors: Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal. The device runs Android 9 and will receive Android 10, as well as 3 years of security updates.
