Nokia TA-1289 certified by China’s TENAA, probably the Nokia 225 4G
|The clock is ticking as we are getting closer to the launch of the new Nokia phones supposedly planned on September 22. However, companies also need to get the necessary certifications for their devices before launching them in different countries and that’s what Nokia Mobile has been doing for the past few months.
Now, Nokia TA-1289, which is one of the models of a new 4G Nokia feature phone, was certified by China’s TENAA on September 9. The dimensions of the device are 124.74 x 51.02 x 13.71 mm, and it is a Dual SIM model manufactured in Vietnam that will come with a 2.4-inch display, a 1150mAh battery and support for Bluetooth. It will support TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, and GSM networks. Previously, Nokia TA-1289 has also received China’s CCC mark, where it revealed that it will be accompanied by the AC-19C power adapter that has an output of 5V/550mA (2.75W). As per the previous leaks, the device will also come with the support for the apps like YouTube and Facebook.
If we look back, two new 4G feature phones, Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 225 4G, were certified by FCC in the US. Among which, the Nokia 215 4G was certified by TENAA a few days ago, so the Nokia TA-1289 could be the Nokia 225 4G for China. Though TENAA has not revealed the pictures of the device yet, we already know how the device looks like because of the leaked press images. However, we still have to wait for TENAA to add the full specifications on its site.
