Two days before the official announcement of Nokia X5 (or 5.1 plus) in China, press images of the device were leaked on the popular Nokibar forum on Chinese social network Baidu. We see the device in black and blue, looking similar to the already announced Nokia X6. It features a wide notch and a “strong” chin.
Thanks to earlier posted specifications via China’s TENAA agency, we know that that X5 will feature a 5.86-inch screen with 720 x 1520 resolution, 3000mAh battery, 3/4/6GB RAM + 32/64GB memory configurations, 13MP+5MP rear dual cameras with an 8MP front camera, and an octa-core MediaTek SoC clocked at 2.0GHz max. The price of the device could be around 800CNY or 102 euros in China for basic configuration.
The official Nokia Mobile Weibo account in China posted the second teaser for the upcoming launch of the Nokia X5. It says coming in two days and instead of “666” we have “233333” written on the teaser.
The new phone is expected to be announced on 11th July or in just two days.
