Nokia C20 coming with a 2950 mAh battery and a 5 W charger? TÜV says so
|Apart from the other smartphones, Nokia Mobile will also launch the new Nokia C20 in the upcoming days. Shortly after the first public appearance of the device name on the HTML5 test site with Android 11 (Go), it was listed by the Russian retailers two days back.
As per those listings, Nokia C20 with the model number TA-1352 will come in Blue color and will have 2 GB RAM, while two different storage variants, 16 GB and 32 GB. Recently, a product database in Georgia mentioned the TA-1342 model alongside TA-1352, which means both the model numbers belong to Nokia C20.
And TA-1342, according to TÜV, will come with a 2950 mAh (3.8 V) battery and a 5 V, 1 A (5 W) charger. A 2950 mAh (3.8 V, 11.21 Wh) battery by Nokia Mobile was also certified by TÜV Rheinland Japan in January with the model number BL-29CI, which is already available on eBay. So, Nokia C20 might ship with this battery.
Funnily enough, TÜV found it necessary to declare that the device has an IPX0 rating. It means the device does not offer any kind of protection against water, which, anyway, is not expected in a budget smartphone. Even the battery capacity is not surprising because even the Nokia C3 has a 3040 mAh battery.
With all these details, it could not have been any clearer that the Nokia C20 may not be a successor to the last year’s Nokia C3 but might fit somewhere between the Nokia C2 and Nokia C3.
