February update starts rolling out for Nokia 5. Whole portfolio up-to-date

HMD Global started rolling out the February update for Nokia 5. The update comes with the Google security patch for February, and, judging from its size (155MB), probably with some under the hood improvements. The update hit a TA-1053 variant in India, and I guess it will soon start popping up in other markets as well.

Nokia 5 now joins the group of Nokia 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8, or in other words, all of HMD’s globally available portfolio (and the 7) runs the recent Android version. As always, updates go in phases, depending on country and operator, so have patience. In other news, our global Nokia 6 today received the Android Oreo update, but we are still waiting for it on the 5. 🙂
