#Helsinki will have commercial #5G network by the year of 2018
Finnish newspaper YLE.fi reported some great news from this year’s #SLUSH conference that is traditionally held in Finland’s capital, Helsinki. According to Telia Sonera operator and Nokia, Helsinki is going to be the first city covered by the commercial 5G network. This is great news for the residents and companies operating in Helsinki, but also great progress since 5G networks are expected to be introduced by 2020 or 2022.
Beside its homeland, Nokia is working hard on the implementation of 5G networks in South Korea and Japan, where next Winter and Summer Olympic Games are going to be held, respectively.
