Google launched Gallery Go app aimed at low end Android (GO) devices

Google today released a new app on the Google Play store that targets lower end Android devices. The new app is a gallery app and it is called Gallery Go, where the “Go” suggests that the app is optimized for low end Android Go phones like the Nokia 1, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 2.1 and others.

The new gallery app is just 10MB in size for download and takes around 27MB in internal storage, which is ideal for low cost Android phones that still come with 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. The app consists of just two views – the gallery view where all your pictures are listed on a timeline and the folders view where you can see the photos divided per their folders.

The app looks clean and simple, while not taking much memory. Nokia 1, 1 Plus and 2.1 should definitely check it out, but it looks like a good choice for everyone that wants just a simple gallery app.
