Nokia 5.1 and 3.1 got on to the Android Enterprise recommended list
|Most wanted sequels of any Nokia phone that HMD presented were Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1. These devices did well last year in stores, and so should their offspring since they not only look better, but their spec list has improved too. Nokia 3.1 and 5.1 seem perfect for a business phone and Android Enterprise shares my observation. Those two devices got the Android Enterprise recommended badge what means they meet all the requirements that Android Enterprise wants from them. The devices are not alone there. Android Enterprise list already had the Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
So, for the next two years, Nokia 3.1 and 5.1 will get the latest Android software and monthly security patches, which is important for the business owners since they will have usable devices for two years, or even longer.
The only thing that sucks a bit is that Nokia 5.1 and 3.1 are still on Android 8.0, and we can thank that to MediaTek, or someone inside HMD that went for Mediatek processors to make the devices more affordable. Hope HMD will speed up Mediatek to push up the updates on Nokia phones.
