Nokia 1.4 certified by WiFi alliance
|Android GO devices might be just perfect for bridging the gap between feature and smartphones. Devices like Nokia 1, or Nokia 1 Plus, are affordable and pretty much offer a smartphone experience to the user. It is always interesting to see how those devices are evolving with years, and Nokia is getting ready to show us a new Nokia 1. The retailers rushed a bit and revealed some details about the device, actually almost everything, and the FCC certification diagram showed the back of the device.

The announcement date was set to the end of January according to some retailers, but that didn’t happen. Anyway, new Nokia 1 or Nokia 1.4 is one step closer to the announcement with the recent WiFi certification by WiFi alliance being done. As known before, Nokia 1.4 will be coming with WiFi b/g/n and will support just 2.4 GHz frequency. The WiFi certificate did confirm there are going to be three models, a dual SIM TA-1322 for the world and TA-1323 and TA-1329 for the Americas.
So, February or early March could be the timeframe for the announcement of this new Android Go running Nokia 1.4.
