|HMD Global today announced an entry level Android smartphone named Nokia 3. Nokia 3 marks the cheapest phone in HMD’s Nokia-branded Android series. Nevertheless, Nokia 3 is beautifully designed like expensier Nokia 5 and 6, with body made of aluminum 6000. Its 5 inch screen has great visibility at high sunlight thanks to the polarizator, and is bright up to 450 nits. The key specifications are:

At a price point of just €139, Nokia 3 is one of the most impressive devices in terms of design and build quality we will see this year. The phone is “beautifully crafted and sculpted polycarbonate body, a solid-feeling aluminium frame, carefully finished details, and optimized performance for everyday use”, Nokia assures us. The phone is 8.48mm thick (8.68mm with camera bump), and packs a 2650mAh battery.
It features a 5-inch HD screen, covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass and with a 450 nits brightness. On the back we have an 8MP shooter, as well as on the front of the device.
The OS is Android 7.0 Nougat, and HMD promised to release monthly updates for the device.
Nokia 3, as well as 5, and 6, will be available sometime in Q2 this year.
