Nokia 1.3 render leaks ahead of the launch event

Tomorrow, Nokia Mobile will announce new smartphones that were initially scheduled to appear at Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona. Because the MWC2020 was cancelled, Nokia Mobile decided to do its own virtual event from London on 19th March, that will be livestreamed.

A day before the event, Evleaks brings us the render of the upcoming Nokia 1.3. The Nokia 1.3 is the new budget device from Nokia Mobile and looking at the render we can see the familiar design with the teardrop notch and a textured backside. The Google Assistant button is present on the device and the device has a single camera with flash. The phone is most likely running Android GO version of Android 9 or Android 10.

Last week Nokia Mobile officially announced the Nokia C2, a 4G successor to the super-affordable 3G device Nokia C1. The C2 might as well be one of the device that was supposed to appear during MWC, but looking at the design it is different from the Nokia 1.3. I personally find the C2 a more attractive device, because the teardrop notch on Nokia 1.3 on the leaked render looks really intrusive, at least to me.
