Official Android Oreo available for Chinese Nokia 6 (TA-1000/1003, 2017)
HMD Global released the official version of Android Oreo to the Chinese variant of Nokia 6 (2017). We can confirm that the update is available for our TA-1000 model, and the update, alongside Oreo, brings a lot of improvements for the Nokia 6 TA-1000. The update is 1587MB in size and can be found in Settings->System update. Check the changelog down below:
- Upgrade to Android 8.0 (“Important upgrade”, says the changelog)
- Updated Settings UI
- Enhanced power saving and background activity manager
- Enhanced low light camera imaging quality
- Added features like waking up the screen when a notification arrives, long screenshots, screen recording etc.
- Added Nokia cloud account service
