Nokia C1 is a new Android GO entry smartphone
|Nokia Mobile announced a new Nokia smartphone that made many people check if this is the year 2010. Nokia C1 is that new Android GO smartphone that doesn’t represent the revival of another great piece of Nokia’s feature phone history, but it does bring possibly a new naming scheme that we used to have during the Symbian era. We might say that the C series is alive once again, and the phone is indeed closing the gap between the feature and smart phones.
The phone brings a relatively large 5.45-inch screen covered with Toughened glass. The screen has a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels, which is close to 200 PPI. It will be coming with an unspecified Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, 16GB of internal memory, and 1GB of RAM. That will be sufficient to run the GO version of Android, which is usually lighter than the proper version. Nokia C1 has a 5MP AF camera with the f/2.4 aperture and LED flash next to it. The 5MP selfie camera will also have an LED flash close, which is a nice hardware feature.
The phone will also be coming with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 2.0 MicroUSB port, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. There is also an accelerometer and proximity sensors. The battery inside has 2500 mAh, which is probably sufficient to push through the day, or longer.
