Nokia 24-inch Smart Android TV launched by StreamView
After announcing the Nokia Terrestrial Receiver 6000 last month, StreamView is back with another new product. This time it is a new Nokia Smart TV, and that too in its smallest dimension.
With a display panel measuring just 24-inch, Nokia promotes it as the “ideal choice for your second device.” Due to its small size and 12 V low power consumption, the company says that it is suitable for caravanning vacations.
The 24-inch Nokia Smart TV comes in black color and has a tabletop pedestal. The HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 p is accompanied by the support of HDR10. Its built-in speakers with an output of 2 x 2.5 W and the Dolby Digital 2.0/ 5.1 support take care of the audio performance.
Like the 32-inch model, the DDR3 RAM for the 24-inch Smart TV is 1 GB, and the eMMC storage is 8 GB. It also integrates a 1.1 GHz ARM CA53 quad-core with TEE (trusted execution environments) chip and a Mali470MP3 GPU with Android TV OS for its functioning.
The Nokia 24-inch Smart TV inherits some of the features from its larger counterparts as well. The Bluetooth remote control (RC) comes with backlit keys and voice searching functionality of Google Assistant. Also, there are dedicated buttons to access Google Assistant, Netflix, and YouTube with a single click.
Every Nokia Smart TV by StreamView is compatible with terrestrial antenna, satellite, or cable-based connection using the built-in triple tuner. In terms of wireless connectivity, the 24-inch Smart TV offers dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac; 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, and built-in Chromecast.
While for wired connectivity, you will have the option of:
- Three CEC-supported HDMI ports
- Two USB 2.0 ports
- Digital audio (coaxial) port for sound systems or soundbars.
- Audio/Video IN (3.5 mm) port for an analog device.
- VGA port
- CI slot for subscription-based TV services with CI+ interface for conditional access modules.
- Supports SatCR for connecting up to 8 receivers to a SatCR LNB.
The 24-inch Nokia Smart TV (2400A) is already available on nokia.streamview.com, Amazon, and select retailers in select European countries for €299.9 (₹25690, US$355).
With that, StreamView will possibly launch the 39-inch Nokia Smart TV soon as well, since it appeared in the recent Bluetooth certification alongside the 24-inch TV.
