Rumor: Nokia 7.3 tempered glass render leaks, looks similar to Nokia 7.2*UPDATE*

Today, Nokia 7.3’s first tempered glass render leaked on Slashleaks. You may have already noticed that there is no difference in the front design of the Nokia 7.2 (shown alongside the glass) and the leaked tempered glass. It has the space for the teardrop notch, ear speaker, and for the Nokia branding at the bottom chin. It also has some extra frames at the top.

Though, the teardrop notch does not look bad, a front design upgrade (punch hole or pop-up) would also be appreciated, and would look more modern. Also, we can expect the back camera module to be similar to that of Nokia 8.3 5G and Nokia 5.3, with a colored center. To be honest, we should always be a bit skeptical about such leaks.

As per nokia_anew, Nokia Mobile is testing an affordable 5G Nokia smartphone with a MediaTek processor. Since Nokia Mobile has already launched the Nokia 5.3, and the chances of it being the Nokia 6.3 are quite less, it brings us to the idea that Nokia 7.3 should be that affordable 5G Nokia phone. Anyway, there is also a source that claims the Nokia 7.3 5G (possible name), may come with a quad-camera setup and the 4/64GB variant should cost about €399 (₹ 34110, US$450). Other specifications are not known yet.

Nokia 7.2 was launched last year in September at the IFA 2019, and is soon going to be a year old. About two months ago, we came to know that Nokia 7.3, the upcoming successor of Nokia 7.2, is being touted to launch this September, if everything supports HMD Global’s plans. So IFA 2020 (September 4-9) is the ideal place for the launch of the new phone from the Nokia 7 series. Hopefully, till then we will get to see the yet to be available Nokia 8.3 5G in the markets. 🤞

What do you expect from the Nokia 7.3? You are welcome to share your views in the comments section below. 🙂

Updated: After some digging, we found that this was listed on a store owned by Alink Tech Co.,Ltd, China (mainland) corporation at the link here. It could be that they just made a typo and listed 7.3 instead of 7.2. We sent a question to them regarding the 7.3 protector and didn’t get a definitive answer if was a typo or really protection for the unannounced Nokia 7.3.
