Nokia G21 is fairly easy to repair

Phones today have become upgradable commodities that are easier to buy new than to repair. However, many manufacturers, including Nokia Mobile, want their phones to have as little impact on the environment as possible. One way to do this is to extend the life of the phones. Another approach is to make it easy to repair if a part does not last long.

In the video below, you can see how easy it is to replace the Nokia G21 motherboard. Of course, this is a simple task for trained repairmen who have the necessary equipment and skills. However, if you have a heat gun, a plastic guitar pick and a Torx screwdriver, you can do the repair yourself. At least it looks easy in the video published by TechnoRabin 🙂

The only question that remains is why this PCB died… G21 is a relatively new model and there shouldn’t be issues like these. However, these things happen and Nokia Mobile does have spare parts accessible for service shops around the world.
