Actually, HMD announced that the Nokia 6.1, together with Nokia 8 Sirocco should be getting the Android 9 sometimes in November.
When announcing the availability of Digital Wellbeing, or Google’s latest feature for Nokia phones that should help users demonstrate how much are they distracted smartphone, Juho Sarvikas mentioned that new Android 9 updates are coming soon.

Later Mr. Sarvikas tweeted and also revealed that the Nokia 6.1 is going to be probably next and that there won’t be any previous Beta Labs testing, but rather a direct update of a stable version.

I’m not saying that you should immediately start wearing of your thumb with numerous taps on the Check for update command, because there is still a few days left of October, and because Stipe is doing that ever since Mr. Sarvikas hinted it is coming :).
Anyway, it would be super fun to see Nokia 6 (2017) getting the Pie in the next batch of updates.
