New Nokia TA-1335, Nokia 8.3 5G, 8000 4G, and 6300 4G certified by China’s CQC
|After more than a year-long hiatus, Nokia Mobile again made an entry into the Chinese smartphone market with the launch of the Nokia C3 in August this year. Now, it seems that Nokia Mobile plans to expand its smartphone offerings in the country by launching the Nokia 8.3 5G. All three variants of the device, i.e., TA-1243, TA-1251, and TA-1257, are referenced in the certification by China Quality Certification (CQC) Center. The certificate also confirms that the device will ship with a 15W power adapter.
Not only that, but more recently, a new 4G Nokia phone with the model number TA-1335 was also certified by CQC on November 12. As the certification reveals, Nokia TA-1335 and Nokia C3 (China) have the same 5W rated power adapter, i.e., “DCS09-0501000” and the same manufacturer, Sprocomm Technologies, China. We can’t say it conclusively, but this can probably be a new smartphone because usually the feature phones (except Nokia 3310 4G) sold by Nokia Mobile in China are manufactured by Fushan Technology, Vietnam.
Also, Nokia Mobile’s newest members joining its feature phone portfolio, the Nokia 6300 4G and the Nokia 8000 4G, passed the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) on November 16. Accompanied by a 5 V, 550 mA rated charger, the TA-1287 model of Nokia 6300 4G and the TA-1311 model of Nokia 8000 4G are heading to China. Both the smart feature phones run on KaiOS and are powered by the Snapdragon 210, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, and a 1500 mAh battery. For more details about the devices, head here.
We can expect the launch of these devices in China once they pass TENAA’s certification.
