Android 10 updates for Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 8.1 coming in the following weeks
The Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, or the one responsible for the end look and feel of Nokia phones, has spoken again regarding the Android updates for Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 8.1. The Android 10 update for Nokia 9 Pureview is almost ready to be released.
Juho tweeted a photo of the Build that is currently being tested and is marked as a final release candidate. The Android 10 V5.138 is 1448.8 MB large and brings all the new Android 10 features like new UI, system navigation, new notifications, dark theme and some other software improvements to the 9PV. It will take another 3 or 4 weeks for field and operator testing before it is publicly released.
Juho confirmed that the new Build is being prepared for Nokia 8.1 to address some issues noticed. A new update is currently being tested and it will also take a few weeks until the field and operator testing is done.
