Unknown #Nokia TA-1017 device certified in #Indonesia
|HMD is slowly building up a whole stockpile of model numbers with the TA-1XXX nomenclature, just like with the RM-XXXX scheme back then. In the whole sea of model numbers dedicated to Nokia 3310, 3, 5, and 6, we are increasingly seeing new numbers that we cannot connect with any announced device. Before going further into new HMD models, let’s take a look at the model numbers we know so far of officially announced Nokia phones.
- Nokia 3310: TA-1008, TA-1030, TA-1037
- Nokia 3: TA-1020, TA-1028, TA-1032, TA-1038
- Nokia 5: TA-1024, TA-1027, TA-1044, TA-1053
- Nokia 6: TA-1000, TA-1003, TA-1021, TA-1025, TA-1033, TA-1039
From the unannounced batch, we have the TA-1004, TA-1012 and TA-1052 as an unannounced Nokia flagship, and a TA-1034 model that we don’t know any details about, that could be a feature phone.
Last week, a new HMD device, or at least a new model number, TA-1017 passed the certification in Indonesia. The device was imported from Vietnam, where the FIH owned (ex-Nokia, ex-Microsoft) factory is situated. Usually in Vietnam the feature phones are manufactured, so this model number could be another version of Nokia 3310 or a new feature phone. It could also be a smartphone, maybe even the rumored Nokia 9.
Thanks Rocky for the tip. 🙂
