Nokia G20 and Nokia G10 are also heading to India, reveals BIS

Nokia G20, Nokia G10

Nokia Mobile is preparing to push two more phones alongside the Nokia TA-1373 4G feature phone in India. Amongst the company’s newest offerings, Nokia G20 (TA-1334) and Nokia G10 (TA-1365) are now registered in the BIS database and will be produced at Lava’s Noida facility.

Last year, HMD Global partnered with two new India-born contract Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers. Lava International is one of those EMS providers and is currently producing the Nokia C3 in the country.

As Nokia Mobile claims, the intermediate G series devices bring three-day battery life, the longest yet on a Nokia smartphone, using the combination of a 5050 mAh battery and a 10 W charger. Both Nokia G20 and Nokia G10 are a part of Android One as the devices will get the usual three years of monthly security updates and two years of Android upgrades, while they will ship with Android 11.

The company seems to find the fingerprint sensor embedded with the power button a very reliable method since it is on offer with not only the Nokia G20 but the Nokia G10 as well. On the front, Nokia G10 and Nokia G20 feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with V-notch. Both support Bluetooth 5 and only 2.4 GHz WI-Fi.

Nokia G20

Nokia G20 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 processor. It has a few things in common with the Nokia 5.4, be it the OZO spatial audio technology or the camera configuration at the back. The device has an 8 MP front camera, while on the back, it has a 48 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide shooter, and the other two cameras are the macro and depth sensor of 2 MP.

Its memory configuration includes 4 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 512 GB and comes in Glacier and Night colors. The base variant costs €159 (₹14170).

On the other hand, Nokia G10 has the Helio G25 processor. With an 8 MP front camera, it houses a 13 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensor at the back. The device comes with 3 GB of RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 512 GB and comes in Dusk and Night colors. Nokia G10 starts at €139 (₹12390).

The prices of both devices are likely to be lower than the global average for the Indian market. In addition to these devices, an unannounced Nokia smartphone with the model number TA-1366 is also expected to launch in the country.
