Nokia getting ready to launch new affordable LTE device (TA-1404)

Nokia Mobile is pretty quiet regarding new device announcements, but Evleaks revealed that some US specific smartphones are coming. Nokia TA-1404 that just passed the FCC test might be just one of the four devices incoming for the US carriers, among them Nokia Suzume. But, who knows, maybe it turns out elsewhere, so here are some details that the certificate documents revealed.

Nokia TA-1404 is a 4G device that will support BT and have a 4900 mAh battery. The WT-341 battery is going to be charged with a standard Nokia 10W charger which suggests it is an entry or low-end smartphone, probably something like Nokia C30 or C20.

Nokia TA-1404 supports 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz WiFi connection and will most probably be running on Unisoc processor since Unisoc efuse security boot mechanism for avoiding Software and Firmware modifications is mentioned in the released documents.

So, Nokia TA-1404 is an entry-level device that will be able to run for two days at least on a single charge. Since the device has passed the FCC certification, Nokia Mobile might be launching it in January 2021.
