Nokia still making phones, but for industrial uses

Nokia published a new promotional video revealing that the Finns are still manufacturing their own hand held devices, but not that you will be able to use daily. The Nokia tablets and handhelds are designed for the industry, and industry only. Nokia created and is offering a selection of  compact handhelds, workpads, routers, dongles, hotspots, and accessories. The devices in the video are all ruggedized and are supporting Nokia’s 4.9G/LTE or 5G private wireless network.

I am not sure if Nokia is manufacturing this equipment in its own plants or the production is outsourced, but it is nice to see Nokia logo on a devices promoted by Nokia on their own YouTube channel.

I don’t know about you, but I’d carry one of these bad boys around and pretend like it is 1999 once again.
