Nokia T20 tablet receiving first Android 11 Build update

Nokia launched its first tablet device, Nokia T20, in the beginning  of October. The device is an affordable table capable of supporting families that need a versatile and affordable device for educational or small business purposes.

Nokia T20 is coming with Unisoc T610 processor which performs rather well on Android 11. Some bugs were noticed like not the best software mapping of volume button and smaller bugs in the UI performances, but all of those can be fixed easily with a software update.

Nokia Mobile just released Android 11 Build update V1.130 that will succeed software shipped with the device. In 320 MB of updates there is also October security patch which will replace the older August patch. The installation went OK even though it took a while to optimize all the apps.

On first inspection, I haven’t noticed any significant differences. The camera app is still the same (2.0.003) and volume rocker is still not changing loudness adequately. But, the UI is more fluid and consistent with Nokia smartphones.

Anyways, do check your Nokia T20 and make it up to date and secure.
