June 2019 security update available for Nokia 8.1, Nokia 3 and Nokia 3.1
Google’s latest June 2019 security patch for Android continues hitting Nokia phones, with the Nokia 3, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 8.1 being the latest devices to receive the patch. Nokia Mobile has 22 smartphones running Android Pie, and with Nokia 2, that makes 23 smartphones receiving monthly security updates.
The update that started rolling out for Nokia 3, 3.1 and 8.1 today, just consists of the security patch, according to the changelog available with the update. The update for all three phones is relatively small – less than 100MB in size, and you can check if the update is available by going to Settings->System->System update.
