Nokia 5 (2017) receiving the security patch for May 2019

The two year old Nokia 5 continues to be supported by Nokia Mobile by receiving the latest May (2019) security patch. Nokia 5 is one of the first new Nokia Android smartphones announced and overall left a positive impression on me.

The May security update is 95.5MB in size and you can check if it is available by going to Settings-System->System update. The changelog mentions just the security patch. Nokia 5 joins the rank of Nokia 8.1, Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 2 as being one of the first devices from the portfolio to get the May update.
