Nokia 5.1 Plus receiving the May 2020 security update

The Nokia 5.1 Plus started receiving a new security update. While we are technically in June, Nokia Mobile released the security patch for May 2020 for Nokia 5.1 Plus owners, as we learn via tips.

The update is around 25MB in size and comes just with the Google Android security patch for May, as is mentioned in the official changelog. The software update isn’t that big, so you could probably download it over cellular network as well, unless you really have a tight data plan for which WiFi is the only option.
