Nokia 5.3 and Nokia X20 receiving new Android builds
Android 13 has been officially released for eligible Google Pixel phone which means that other non-Google phones included in the development preview program will start receiving it soon. Nokia X20 should be among the first Nokia devices to get the latest Android OS version, and soon after the update should follow on other Nokia devices. However, until that happens, Nokia devices are doomed for new Android Builds and monthly security updates, which is also nice.
Nokia 5.3 users are still waiting for Android 12, but they will have to settle with the new Android Build V2.290 which is bringing some UI changes and system improvements along with may security patch (again). Well, most likely the 540 MB large update will take care of all the issues found so the new updates could come without any problems.
Nokia X20 is also getting new Android 12 Build V2.580 that is followed by a July security patch. This update should be taking care of the over-charging issue that Nokia Mobile noticed and which was already started being corrected for XR20 which we still haven’t received here in Croatia.
