Nokia 8 now receiving April 2020 security update
Since the start of this week, Nokia Mobile has been on a spree of releasing Android updates and security patches for many of its smartphones. Hence, Nokia 8 is also receiving the April 2020 security update now, which is the quarterly security update. The update size is unknown to us, and the update change-log mentions only the Google security patch. Also, we don’t know whether the update is available globally, or it is dispatched in stages, and that is where you can assist the rest.

The three-year tenure of security updates for Nokia 8 is already over, but Nokia Mobile had announced that Nokia 8 will continue to receive quarterly security updates for an extra year.
The three-year tenure of security updates for the Nokia 8 ends in October 2020, and currently the updates are arriving quarterly, unlike the first two years when the scheme of updates was monthly. However, the two-year tenure of Android updates for Nokia 8 is already over, so it will not receive the Android 10 update.
