Nokia 8.1 next one to get Android 11 update
Nokia Mobile announced the official roadmap for the Android 11 back in October 2020, but the first update was released in February 2021 for Nokia 8.3. According to the original plan, which might not be correct anymore, the next phones to get it are Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 8.1. The big question is when are those devices get the update and which one will be next?
According to Geekbench, the next Nokia smartphone to get Android 11 could be Nokia 8.1 since that phone has been popping up in the results with the latest OS. The last entry was back on February 22, 2021.
Nokia Mobile has been silent about revealing the release of the update for Nokia smartphones, but the Dutch site Androidworld might have info about it. They reached Nokia Mobile regarding the update and found out from the local team that the next phone to get Android 11 is going to be Nokia 8.1. The update should be released in Belgium and Netherlands at the end of March.

If this info turns out to be true, then Nokia Mobile is probably still using the roadmap published in Q4 2020. Anyways, if you are being impatient about getting Android 11, you shouldn’t because the new version of the OS doesn’t differ much from Android 10.
