Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 8.1 start receiving the December 2019 update

Earlier this month, Nokia Mobile started the Android 10 rollout to its flagship device the Nokia 9 PureView. While the Android 10 update by itself comes with new features related to the Android platform, the update wasn’t coupled with the December security patch.

As users now report, the December security patch for Android is being rolled out to the Nokia 9 PureView and the Nokia 8.1, that was the first device to receive Android 10 from the Nokia Android lineup. The update for Nokia 9 PureView is around 32MB in size, while the update for Nokia 8.1 is just 7MB in size, according to the official changelog.
