Video: Latest Nokia 9 PureView update adds a camera bug for some users
Nokia Mobile started the rollout of a new update to Nokia 9 PureView users yesterday. The update comes with a new Android 9 Pie build (V4.27C) and the June security update. Users reported that the update added the “bokeh” mode to the camera, made the photo processing quicker and the fingerprint scanner faster.
One user sent us a video of a strange camera bug that appeared after the last update. The bug manifests itself in video mode as periodical clicking sounds. In the video attached below, the “noise bug” can be heard from 1:06 minutes. Ignore the constant background noise that probably comes from interference with other devices.
Another Nokia 9 PureView user also running the latest build doesn’t have this bug, so it might be a limited problem.
