Nokia T21 announced in Indonesia

Nokia Mobile has announced Nokia T21 in Indonesia, an upgraded version of its first tablet Nokia T20. However, the phone wasn’t followed by Nokia X30 5G and Nokia G60 5G. Unlike those two phones, the tablet is not yet available in many markets. The reason could be some recent hardware changes that had to be certified by regulators like the FCC, which granted certification on first day of November.

The event was organized at the Alila SCBD event fair in South Jakarta and many members of the press were invited. Among the press were Nokianesia which shared some from the event. Unfortunately, the Nokia T21 was not announced along with the latest mid-range devices, as mentioned before. The tablet was followed by the entry-level Nokia C21 Plus and C31 phones, which are an affordable option for entry-level smartphone users. The Nokia T21 was recently launched in Indonesia and .

The good thing about this announcement was the presenter himself. The devices were presented by the excellent Juha Werkkala, a senior product manager known for his energetic and enthusiastic approach to public appearances. Juha is always well prepared and passionate when talking about new devices, and his manner reminds me of the old days. I had a chance of speaking with him during MWC2019 and I can tell you that this guy should be in charge of all the events.

The tablet in the 4/64 GB version is expected to be available in December in Charcoal Grey colour for Rp 3,299,000 (approximately 205€). The Nokia C21 Plus, on the other hand, is said to cost Rp. 1,499,000 (92€) and the Nokia C31 Rp. 1,699,000 (105€), which are good prices.
