Nokia 4.2 now receiving Android 11
After being released for Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3, Nokia Mobile released Android 11 update for Nokia 4.2. The update is available in India and Serbia (big thanks to pk and Branko) which means the update should be available elsewhere too.
The reason for that is because Nokia Mobile is releasing the update for all the market at once except the following ones:
- Armenia
- Belarus
- Bulgaria
- Chile (Entel Chile, Movistar Chile, Claro Chile, WOM)
- Colombia (Claro Colombia, Movistar Colombia)
- Czech Republic (O2 CZ)
- Israel
- Kazakhstan
- Mongolia
- Poland (Plus, Orange PL, PLAY)
- Romania (Orange RO)
- Russia
- USA (T-Mobile)
- Uzbekistan
The update release will go as follows: 10% of the rollout will go out immediately, 50% by April 10th, and 100% by April 12th.
This Android 11 update is bringing March security patch together with all the improvements of the next big OS update Google has prepared. Do stay connected on the WiFi if you data plan is not the best since the update is 1.50 GB in size.
