Two Nokia QLED and more Android 11 TVs launching tomorrow, JBL and Harman on board
|Tomorrow marks the premiere of the upcoming James Bond movie “No Time To Die,” and with a release date of September 30, a launch event from HMD Global would have suited well. However, a different brand licensee of Nokia will be announcing new products on September 28.
The Indian e-commerce major, Flipkart, has revealed the launch date and highlights of the first-ever Nokia Android 11 TVs. A total of six of them will be unveiled, including two QLED TVs with 50 and 55-inch displays, three UHD 4K LED TVs with 43, 50, and 55-inch displays, and a 43-inch FHD LED TV.
With sound by JBL, Dolby Atmos, and Harman AudioEFX (audio effects), Flipkart aims to deliver a cinematic sound experience to the audio front on the Nokia Android 11 TVs. Last year, the Nokia Smart TVs came with a speaker output of up to 48 W.
This time, the in-built front-facing soundbar will have a sound output of up to 60 W and consists of a dedicated tweeter system designed for high-frequency sounds. Apart from that, the highlights of the Nokia TVs with quantum dot technology include 102% NTSC and brightness enhancement film.
The TVs are being promoted very actively on Nokia and MyNokia social media handles. There is a video teaser that mainly showcases JBL and Harman coming together and also the chrome pedestals of the TVs.

The second generation of Nokia Smart TVs also included 65 and 32-inch models, which seem to be a miss in the upcoming line of TVs, so the old models might continue to be available. Other than that, Flipkart will also launch the Windows 11 powered Nokia PureBook soon, given that its sale starts from October 3.
