One of Europe’s largest technology distributor partners with #HMD to bring back #Nokia to market
As mobilenewscwp reports, HMD Global partnered with Exertis, “one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing technology distribution and specialist service providers.” This is not a renewal of the 2011 contract with Nokia, but a whole new deal for which HMD fought with a number of phone manufacturers. “Exertis” has over 28,850 retailers and resellers globally, with businesses located across Europe and the Middle East.
Internally, two new high-ranking employees joined HMD – Jon French as vice president of Western Europe, and Sarah Edge as UK and Ireland general manager. Jon French joined HMD from Microsoft, but he is a Nokia veteran, while Sarah Edge left Sony.
